Someone New

You promised me a new beginning,

one without all of your sinning,

each night would be like our first,

my heart would never again burst.

Your promises went out the door

I know you don't love me anymore,

they were nothing but a pack of lies,

your cute smiles just an ugly disguise.

I'll pick up the pieces to my heart,

one day, I'll make a new start.

I'll find someone who'll be true

and make me forget about you.

I hope some man you think is cool

will be the one to make you the fool.

It would be great to see how you feel,

losing a love you thought was real.
