Maybe Tonight She Will Know

In her dreams she's above the clouds peeking down
At a schooner with proud sails blowing in the wind
Why she has this dream each night she wishes she knew
Is it a memory in her mind concealed deep within?

Maybe she's remembering a life she lived long ago
Recalling a day her love sailed away and never returned
Or is it her dream is fantasy having no meaning at all?
She knows she will never rest until the truth is learned.

Her heart tells her the recurring dreams are true
Of a past century when the pace of life was slow
She prays some night soon answers will be revealed
If her love returned or didn't she needs to know.

Maybe tonight she will know...
