Just A Little Attention

Everything I guess has a time and place
My time has passed like an evening sun
When the sun awakens at the light of day
I'm still sitting empty not used by anyone.

My boards are bare my paint is fading away
No one visits me whether it be day or night
Sitting here is all I do feeling terribly alone
I'm afraid my future doesn't look too bright.

I wish someone would stop by sometimes
Hopefully and give me a coat of paint or two
My condition should be easy for them to see
Just a little attention now and then would do.
