This Goes For Me Too

When a loved one is seriously ill
You find yourself at loss what to say
Their knowing you're there for them
Says more than your words could say.

A gentle touch or soft hand squeeze
Is the best medicine that I know
It's a special way of saying you care
In a way I'm sure they will know.

You would be sad if you were sick
And friends or family didn't visit you
Your nights and days would be long
Prepare now for what is ahead for you.

This goes for me too....
