What Comes Around
Goes Around

The moment you said your love for me was gone
My heart felt like an echo fading as it drifted away
Like a cold winter night without a moon or stars
Made me unsure of tomorrow or any future day.

Believing you loved me was my entire world
Goals impossible to attain I was ready to reach
Until you destroyed me with just a few cold words
I'm feeling like a piece of driftwood on a lonely beach.

My heart is burning like a blazing forest fire
Only the good Lord knows how badly I'm feeling
One thing I know for sure I hope one of these days
You'll pay real big for your wheeling and dealing.

What comes around goes around...
