And Last Night
Two Hearts Cried

I found a red rose crumbled on the ground
Wish I knew whose rose I had found
Thoughts if the rose was thrown away
Have been foremost on my mind all day.

Hopefully a romance didn't go astray
Causing two lovers to walk separate ways
Later wishing they could relive last night again
Kindling their love the way it was when it began.

I'm hoping the rose was accidentally lost
This being the case I have my fingers crossed
Because I would hate to think a romance died
And last night two broken hearts cried.
