Good-bye, I've
Gotta Go

I thought the cheese
On the table was for me
But they sure got mad
When they saw me eating it
And started hollering at me.

I thought everyone knew
What a good cat I am
I can't understand
Why they chased me
Out of the house
Or why I heard
The kitchen door slam.

I bet I know what
Will make them appreciate me
I'll catch a mouse
Take him in the house
And put him on the table
Right next to the cheese
I bet they'll be happy
At least I hope so
But, I'll wait and see.

Good-bye, I've gotta go.....
