JUST OUR MOMENTS

IN TIME

Looking back over my long life

Fond memories surface in my mind

Of moments perhaps at the time

Not realized to be a special kind.

Coming home after a hard workday

My daughter meeting me at the door

So happy she was that I was home

Are happy moments sadly a long time gone.

My always saying, 'what's for supper?'

While watching my wife's pretty smiles

And her always saying, 'wait and see'

Thankfully are moments still here for me.

The clock continues ticking night and day

Bringing many changes in my life

My daughter is grown now and lives far away

I'll always miss her being at the door everyday.

All and all I guess our lives are:

JUST OUR MOMENTS IN TIME
