In A Place

Only God Knows

On this quiet afternoon

I'm sitting here alone

Remembering past memories

Of a time long since gone.

One memory surfacing more than the rest

Is causing more than one tear

Memories of Mom working in her garden

In which she loved so dear.

Her loving devotion to her flower's

Came from inside her compassionate heart

It makes me feel good my knowing

Her love for me dwelled in a special part.

Mom doesn't live on earth anymore

But like the unseen wind blows

I know she's somewhere I can't see

Tending Heavenly flower's

In a place only God knows.
