What God Alone
Can Do

Yesterday a marvel
Appeared in the sky
I witnessed God painting
A beautiful sunset
Right before my eyes.

Cows in a nearby pasture
Seemed to be watching too
I wonder if they knew
They were witnessing
What God alone can do.

Like sunsets comes
At the end of the day
God paints sunrises
In each mornings sky
The very same way.

Sometimes God paints
Rainbows for us to adore
To remind us of his promise
He will never destroy earth
With a flood anymore.
