Time Sure Changes Things

When I was a little boy of twelve
Girls were the last thing on my mind
Passing years changed my way of thinking
Because lately one is on my mind all the time

A girl I used to always pull her hair
Passing years sure changed her looks
Only yesterday my heart skipped a beat
When she agreed to let me carry her books.

When my friends saw me carrying her books
They laughed and pointed their fingers at me
No matter how much they teased I didn't care
Because I was and still am as happy as can be.

Time sure changes things....
