Her Special Smile

Grandma's old clothesline

Still hangs

Behind grandpa's old barn_

Today my mind is filled

With pleasant memories

Back when I visited the farm_

The fun I had

Helping grandma

Hanging out her clothes.

When the clothes were

All waving in the wind

Grandma always gave me

Her special smile_

As we walked towards the house

To share cookies and milk_

Yes, these pleasant memories

Will last me a long while..
