Now Please Let Me

Sister let me practice my piano

Then I promise I'll play with you

We'll even go outside and swing

If that's what you'd like to do.

Don't you remember Mama telling me

Before she left for the store

For me to practice my recital

And not to play any one minute before.

I know it's hard for you to understand

Why Mama's instructions we have to obey

But you do know She loves us very much

You also know she's there for us each and everyday.

Now please let me practice....
