That's All I Know

To Do.....

I'll never forget your lovely face

And those one of a kind smiles

Always there when I came home

After being gone a long while.

Nor will I ever forget the things I did

That caused all your painful heartaches

Oh! How I wish there was some way

I could correct those foolish mistakes.

All I can do is lay my heart on the table

Hoping you'll pick it up again

And give me one more chance

To show you I'm a changed man.

Tonight I won't lock the front door

The porch light will be burning

I'll be sitting near the door and hoping

I'll see the door knob turning.

That's all I know to do.....
