I had to leave her far across the sea
But I know she's somewhere over there waiting for me
My heart tells me on some special day
I'll find her if there's any possible way.
I remember her happiness when I gave her a rose
Then I had to leave before I could propose
It was impossible for me to let her know
She's the girl I'll always love because I had to go.
Soon my search for her will start
When I find her again we'll never part
Because we will exchange wedding vows
And live together long as God allows.
