My Imagination Will

Have To Do

If this old Gazebo could talk

I really would love to know

The history of all the lover's

Who visited here many years ago.

I can picture the suspense

Of a young man down on his knees

Asking his love for her hand

And hoping what her answer would be.

Possibly a heartbroken young woman

Returned to the Gazebo all alone

Trying to sort out in her mind

Where her romance went wrong.

Yes, if this old Gazebo could talk

I would really love to know

The history of all the lover's

Who visited here many years ago.

Since the old Gazebo can't talk

My imagination will have to do

So I wrote down a few of my thoughts

And I'm passing them on to you.
